It is with great pleasure that I submit this Letter of Recommendation for Lisa 
Chrapowicz’s application Emerging Leaders program. 

In addition to her fulltime job as Executive Director of Education at EduKids, 
Lisa is an outstanding natural leader on the Board of Directors of Explore & 
More Children’s Museum. Explore & More is planning for a new museum 
located at the heart of the revitalization of Buffalo (NY) waterfront 
revitalization (opening late 2016), and Lisa has played an active role in our 
growth and plans. She chairs the Education Committee and has shepherded 
volunteers, community leaders and staff through many changes over the past 
several years. 

Lisa brings together a passion for and knowledge of educating young 
children. At the same time, she consistently demonstrates strong planning 
and business sense. Best of all, she does it all with an ever-present smiling 
disposition and positive outlook. I know I can count on Lisa to say and do 
what needs to be done. AND, she will always do it with a smile on her face! 

Lisa truly exemplifies leadership in her work with and for young children. I 
am honored to count her as one of our Board members.
